BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX FOUNDATION: REVIEW AND SWATCHES

I’m sure everyone has heard about Bourjois Healthy mix Foundation. I was really excited to try it out. It is supposed to be a long-wear, 16 hour foundation, with fruit extracts, including apricot, melon, apple and ginger that Bourjois claims are really good for your skin.

Ingredients :

water , dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane , Butylene Glycol , PEG-10 Dilmethicone, Aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium chloride , disteardimonium Hectorite, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, dimethicone crosspolymer , Tocopheryl Acetate , Alcohol Denat , Parfum , Panthenol  Alcohol , Aluminum hyroxide , Silica

, Propylene Glycol , Sodium Hyaluronate , Glycerine , Pyrus malus (apple)

MY TAKE ON BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX FOUNDATION:

The foundation has a nice, smooth texture. It’s not heavy or thick, and its not runny at all.The packaging is decent. I like that the foundation comes in a plastic bottle, it has a pump so you can pump out just the right amount of product,the packaging of the bottle is great as the bottom of the bottle moves up as you use it this makes it a lot easier to know when you are about to run out.

Bourjois Healthy Mix gives me medium coverage, which is nice, and I like how it doesn’t look cakey or patchy on the skin. The foundation is buildable, so you can do without a concealer for minor blemishes.It’s fairly lightweight so I think it will work really well as an everyday foundation.It does last a long time (all night) on my normal to dry skin. The foundation is available in 8 shades.

I especially like this the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation because of the slightly dewy finish that it gives me.It’s not mattifying, not completely dewy, but lies somewhere in between as far as finish goes. It looks very natural on skin.

CONS :

Not all shades are available in India .

The Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is definitely one i recommend. It’s the perfect dewy, lightweight foundation. It’s doesn’t cake up and leaves my skin looking and feeling fresh and more even toned.

INCOLOR GLIMMER BLUSHER, SHADE 07: REVIEW & SWATCHES

Hello Beauties :)

I am back with a review... and this time i am reviewing highlighter from Incolor. The shade that i am reviewing here is shade no. 7 and name is not mentioned here.

 

Product Description: Get a natural lustre, shine and a sensuous appeal. Gives right balance of colour and highlight without streaking the skin. Long-staying. All day wear without fading or creasing. Soft and gentle to use.

Quantity: 9 gm

Price: near about 190 INR.

My take on Incolor Glimmer Blusher, Shade No- 7:

The color is pretty coppery peach shade good enough to use as a highlighter. It comes in baked form, domed shaped. The blusher is soft and nicely pigmented, when i swipe my finger on it, i get adequate amount of color. But when we apply it on face with  brush, color doesn't show up, and i end up using it as a highlighter and not a blusher. No, not at all. It has got very tiny shimmer in it. 

Pros:

Pigmentation is nice

works great as a highlighter

Has a shimmery dazzling effect.

Inexpensive 

Cons:

Staying power is not more than 4 hours

Does not show up if used as blusher

TIPS FOR NATURAL GLOWING SKIN

• Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated.

• Banana-milk pack work wonders on skin. Mash half a banana and then add milk in it. Make a paste and apply it on your face for 15-20 mins.

• Mix a pinch of turmeric in 2 spoon of tomato juice and apply this on your face for 20 mins. You will surely get to see glowing face.

• Applying mixture of honey and milk on your face daily can make your skin glow.

• Exercise daily to improve blood circulation and get the desired glow.

• Try to protect your skin from sun, apply sunscreen with SPF 30- SPF 40 to avoid tanning and sun burns.

• Cucumber is very effective to get a clear complexion. Apply cucumber juice on face for 15 minutes and get blemish free skin.

• Fresh vegetables and fresh fruits are very important part of diet, they provide antioxidents to the body.

• To get rid from blackheads make a thick paste with baking soda and water and massage on the entire face for 3-5 minutes, after keeping it for 10 mins wash your face with normal water.

• Apply reddish juice on skin to get rid from white heads. Reddish juice may give burning sensation to your skin.

Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear Review

Lacto Tan Clear Remedy for Sun Tan Removal:

This product was kept unused in one corner of my cupboard. Three months back I went to Mauritius and returned with a horrible tanning. I tried lot of products but no, not helpful. Then I tried Lacto Tan Clear. IT REMOVES THE TAN…… Yes, Yes!!!!

The product comes in a white jar packaging with a yellow-green outer cover.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

Milk proteins and honey enriched special tan cream helps remove the epidermal suntan, thereby restoring the natural fairness of the skin and also preventing pigmentation due to harmful sun. Its effect is ideal for hot climates and the cream also helps enhance after facial glow.

USAGE: 

Apply a thick layer on the face/ skin and keep it on for 10-15 min and after soft massage remove with water.  Advice to be used every day to restore the natural color and glow of the skin.

INGREDIENTS:

NOT specifically mentioned but it says that it has Milk, Honey and Geranium Oil.

Purchase Price: 

Rs 65 for 40 gm (Perhaps now they charge more for this product) It is more effective when you put this on immediately after coming back from the sun. It has this thick creamy consistency which makes it spread easily.

Sensitive skin girls, here is a bad news. It may break you out. As told by one of my friend. If you have a normal skin use as it is, and girls with dry skin, moisturizing is required after using this.

Pros:

• Does what it claims
• Affordable
• Fragrance is good
• Easy to apply
• Adds an instant glow to skin.

Cons:

• Comes in jar, so unhygienic.
• Not easily Available.

My Suggestion: 

I did have severely-tanned skin. Let me tell you ladies, this seems to be a miracle remedy to remove tan. It dries out the skin. Moisturizing is a must after using this. It can be used regularly in this hot season. It also prevents pigmentation due to harmful sun.

I’m totally in love with this product.. It makes a lot of difference. I would really advise you to try it.

Today I am going to review my favorite makeup brushes from Madame that I had ordered online from madame website. I am totally loving these brushes these days because they are super cheap and quality is just WOW J

Price: Rs 265 (bought at 30% off i.e 185) Can you imagine 5 super soft brushes for Rs 185.

My take on Madame Makeup Brush Set:

The Madame brushes are incredibly soft. I have never used a brush softer than these in my life. The are little, super cute brushes, the set can be the best complete brush set for any beginner, as it contains all basic brushes. The set includes a blush brush, Lash and brow groomer, lipstick brush and two brushes for eye shadows (one applicator and another blending brush). All of them have super soft bristles that pick up the amount of the product.

Blusher brush blends powder and blusher like a dream, it has a light feather touch. It is dense and thick – picks up a good amount of product in one go. I even use it to brush powder all over my face.

I use the lash groomer when I end up having clumped lashes after applying mascara. It is easy to separate my lashes using this.

Pros:

• The quality of brush set is awesome.
• Brushes are cute little brushes.
• They are super soft
• Cheap
• Travel friendly 

Cons:

• I haven’t seen any cons J

Do I Recommend Madame makeup brush Set?

Yes, the are super soft, good quality brush. Highly recommended.

After a long break, today I will do a review on clean & clear clear fairness face wash. This face wash is best to be used in summer as it is oil free and gives a matte effect.

PRODUCT DISCRIPTION:

MY TAKE ON CLEAN & CLEAR: CLEAR FAIRNESS FACE WASH:

The face wash comes in a beautiful purplish pink tube. The consistency of the face wash is nice it kind of a cream face wash and its not runny in texture.

The fragrance of clear fairness face wash is very mild and soothing. It contains fruits and rice extracts.

It didn’t dry out my skin, I first used it when I was in Mussoorie  for holidays. I loved it from the first application. After application my face was clean and clear :P  I didn’t felt the need of immediate moisturisation after using this. This face wash is oil-free and it says that it won’t clog pores. And one thing that I forgot to mention is that my husband also used this face wash, he has oily skin and even he liked this face wash and it suited him as well.

This is a nice face wash, with a very nice texture. It contains natural fruit extracts. It is really good for the price, totally loved this.

BOURJOIS PARIS BLUSH: ROSE D’OR Review and Swatches

This comes in a cute little pink packaging with attached mirror (mine,fell and broke)  inside the lid cover and a brush. I have noticed the product can become quite hard and sometimes you do need to press down with a very firm hand. As you can see in the picture the blush is pink baked blush with golden shimmers on it. If you hate gold sparkles in your blushes, this isn’t for you, personally even I don’t like sparkles on my cheeks but I like this one. Just the right amount to give a subtle brightness, yet not shimmery enough be noticed. These are available in 19 shades J

The color: It’s a wearable medium pink shade with golden sheen. They are medium pigmented and has a decent staying power. It comes with a curved brush, its fits on the baked blush, but it’s not of much use. And it is lightly rose-scented.           

Price: Rs 575 for 2.5 gm

Likes:

• The color
• Packaging is handy
• Mild rose fragrance
• Its sheeny not shimmery actually

Dislikes:

• Pigmentation: could be better
• The blush hardens up in due course of time, if kept unused.
• The price

Do I recommend?

I really don’t know.  Go for it if you like sheeny (a less shimmery) look.

Shall I repurchase?

No, this one will go long way J maybe I’ll try the other shades. Maybe Lilas D’or 33, it’s a peachy pink.
