I am here to announce launch of new venture (officially) Punjabi Designer Suits Chandigarh. I have started this to extend my love for fashion and cloth designing. I will be uploading all the suits designed by me here and will  also upload the latest in trend suits. All suits uploaded here will be available for sale. Please feel free to show your interest on the posted item so that i may contact you back with the details of the fabric, hand work and cost things. I am also executing my plans to open my personal boutique, Currently its under construction and will be ready by March End. I will be posting the pics of it soon . Happy New year 2013

Hello All

Wishing you all a very happy new year 2013 from bottom of my heart. When i started this blog in mid of the year 2012, i never though this would be a much learning curve for me. I thought this would be a cake walk and i will pull it off easily. But seriously this ain't a easy job. I am still learning and loving it both at the same time.

Now MAKECHRIPS has been around 6 months old and we have created a family here. I just wanted to share the stats of last 6 months with you all.

Facebook -- 560 Likes (more than 90 % of whom are woman)

The above is good reflection of how year 2012 went for us and we expect much more from 2013. We will be adding lots of stuff on the site this coming year. I love the way the bloggers family has excepted me with both open arms. I feel we have a long way to go ahead, but when you have a good start, u get the motivation to move quickly. I hope you all will keep on loving me as you have always done. The last year was fun and new year will be full of Fun too.. With this hope i again wish you all a very happy new year 2013.

My Take on Lotus Herbals Pure Colors Lipstick in Crimson Red:

The shade of the lipstick is Crimson red which is a very bold red shade.

 

The Lipstick is moisturizing, it glides on lips like anything. the lipstick is very creamy and does not settle in fine lines. It is very very pigmented that you just have to swipe it once and you are ready to rock. Even the staying power of the lipstick is very good it stays on lips for good 3-4 hours and then it starts fading evenly. The lipstick has jojoba and aloe vera extracts which make it more smooth and moisturizing.

I am totally in love with Maybelline Color tattoo in "BOLD GOLD". I am so happy that i had this color which made my festive season more bright and lively.

MY TAKE ON MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO 'BOLD GOLD:

I have been using gold on my eyes for all this festive season. I just love gold on my eyes. The product comes in a simple glass pot with a black twist up lid which prevents the gel-cream eyeshadow from drying out.

BOLD GOLD is a very Gorgeous shade i just love how it looks on the Lids, it goes very creamy when applied with fingers on the lid, its a shimmery gold shade. The product is worth for every rupee we pay for it. I must say that it is a CREASE-LESS eyeshadow. If we talk about pigmentaion, the one word that comes to mind is AWESOME,really it has very nice payoff of color. 

I find it very easy to apply it with fingers, i don't use brush to apply this eyeshdow, because i find it difficult to apply it evenly with a brush. Even the staying power is awesome, it stays for more than 10 hours without creasing or fading, i am saying 10 hrs because i have not tested it for more hours.

Overall, the eyeshadow is great in terms of pigmentation, staying power and texture. The color is great of this marriage and festive season as well, This color brightens up the eyes. You will really enjoy this product. For me it's a MUST HAVE GOLD SHADE :)

My take on TBS Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm:

The lip balm comes in a small pot with a screw cap. The lip balm when applied gives a very nice pink tint and the fragrance of the balm is amazing.  This product is ideal for summers when you require less moisture as compared to winters.

Its not a sticky or a heavy balm ,not very glossy but a NOT for winters.

 

 

Pros of TBS Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm:

• Availability
• Smells amazing
• Texture is really Smooth
•  Not heavy, sticky or greasy
• Great quantity one pot will last quite a long time

 

Cons of TBS Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm:

• The pink tint fades away very quickly within half n hour
• Staying power is not so good (approx. 2 hrs.)
• Glossy touch will stay hardly for half an hour
• Comes in a pot which is not very hygienic
• Is not very moistening won’t help if u have chapped or too dry lips
• You have u reapply it again and again

ELLE 18 COLOR POPS LIPSTICK: 26 HOT PINK REVIEW & SWATCHES

Hello Girls,

Today I will be reviewing another lipstick shade from Elle 18. I had reviewed the shade “Strawberry Falls” few weeks back. Today I will be reviewing Shade No. 26 “Hot Pink” from Elle 18. The shade is very beautiful pink .

My Take On Elle 18 Color pops lipstick: Hot Pink

The texture of the lipstick is very creamy and soft. The lipstick is very moisturizing as it has some lip balp sort of thing at the center.

The lipstick is highly pigmented, with two swipes you get to see beautiful shade on your lips. Coming to staying power, this will stay almost 3-4 hour on your lips if applied with lip liner as a base. Its not at all bad for the price we pay… Actually we get a very good quality lipstick at such a low price.  

Pros of Elle 18 Color pops lipstick: Hot Pink:

• Affordable (Rs 100)
• Nicely pigmented
• Beautiful Shade
• Cute packaging
• Texture is very creamy

Cons of Elle 18 Color pops lipstick: Hot Pink:

• Staying power is not so good.

Hello Girls,

Today I am going to review my favorite makeup brushes from Madame that I had ordered online from madame website. I am totally loving these brushes these days because they are super cheap and quality is just WOW J

Price: Rs 265 (bought at 30% off i.e 185) Can you imagine 5 super soft brushes for Rs 185.

My take on Madame Makeup Brush Set:

The Madame brushes are incredibly soft. I have never used a brush softer than these in my life. The are little, super cute brushes, the set can be the best complete brush set for any beginner, as it contains all basic brushes. The set includes a blush brush, Lash and brow groomer, lipstick brush and two brushes for eye shadows (one applicator and another blending brush). All of them have super soft bristles that pick up the amount of the product.

Blusher brush blends powder and blusher like a dream, it has a light feather touch. It is dense and thick – picks up a good amount of product in one go. I even use it to brush powder all over my face.

I use the lash groomer when I end up having clumped lashes after applying mascara. It is easy to separate my lashes using this.

Pros:

• The quality of brush set is awesome.
• Brushes are cute little brushes.
• They are super soft
• Cheap
• Travel friendly 

Cons:

• I haven’t seen any cons J

Do I Recommend Madame makeup brush Set?

Yes, the are super soft, good quality brush. Highly recommended.
